Enjoy horseback riding lessons and so much more with Kim Johansen at Livery Stables.  Lessons are geared toward beginner to intermediate riders.  Kim and staff instruct riders on basic horse care like tacking, feeding, grooming, watering and every aspect of what happens at a barn.  Children will love their time with this special little horse-family!

Cedar Knoll Golf Course Pro Mike Slayton has a non-technical teaching philosophy but stresses the fundamentals of grip, stance, posture, balance and tempo.  Although understanding that variations in swing techniques can all work, golf ball flight comes down to 5 basic laws. These laws include club head path, angle of attack, centeredness of contact, club face angle and speed. "The golf swing is a series of movements that must be executed in the proper sequence for optimal results."Unless otherwise noted, HCS students may ride the bus to CKCC for the after-school golf programs.

The Hinesburg Children’s Choir returns.  Designed for children in grades 2-4 on Wed (early release) from 2:00-3:00 at HCS, students will learn a variety of songs such as classical, folk, jazz, art songs, and pop selections. There will be a concert at the end of Nov. or early Dec. for the first semester and in mid-May for the second semester.  Children will be learning to develop pitch, tone, rhythm, posture, harmony, and overall performance skills. The choir will be co-directed by Andrea Haulenbeek and Jenny Cianciola, both retired public school music teachers and performers. Parent volunteers are welcome to help manage rehearsal tasks (binders, attendance, individual needs of children). Tae Kwon Do KICKS Classes for all ages - from Preschoolers to grandparents. Learn traditional TaeKwon Do techniques, including self-defense and board breaking, while improving your flexibility, strength, cardio, self-control, and self-confidence. All classes are taught family style so parents and children or mixed aged siblings can train together. Prepare for Black Belt....Prepare for Life. KICKS stands for Keep fit; Inner strength, Confidence, Kinship and Self-defense. Classes in Hinesburg on Wednesdays at 2:15 - 3:15 pm; 4:00 - 5:00 pm and 5:45 - 6:45 pm First class is free to try out then it's a month-to-month tuition program - so you are committing to one month at a time. Cedar Knoll Golf Course Pro Mike Slayton has a non-technical teaching philosophy but stresses the fundamentals of grip, stance, posture, balance and tempo.  Although understanding that variations in swing techniques can all work, golf ball flight comes down to 5 basic laws. These laws include club head path, angle of attack, centeredness of contact, club face angle and speed. "The golf swing is a series of movements that must be executed in the proper sequence for optimal results."Unless otherwise noted, HCS students may ride the bus to CKCC for the after-school golf programs.

The Hinesburg Children’s Choir returns.  Designed for children in grades 2-4 on Wed (early release) from 2:00-3:00 at HCS, students will learn a variety of songs such as classical, folk, jazz, art songs, and pop selections. There will be a concert at the end of Nov. or early Dec. for the first semester and in mid-May for the second semester.  Children will be learning to develop pitch, tone, rhythm, posture, harmony, and overall performance skills. The choir will be co-directed by Andrea Haulenbeek and Jenny Cianciola, both retired public school music teachers and performers. Parent volunteers are welcome to help manage rehearsal tasks (binders, attendance, individual needs of children). Enjoy horseback riding lessons and so much more with Kim Johansen at Livery Stables.  Lessons are geared toward beginner to intermediate riders.  Kim and staff instruct riders on basic horse care like tacking, feeding, grooming, watering and every aspect of what happens at a barn.  Children will love their time with this special little horse-family!

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM    Hinesburg Children's Choir - Hinesburg Children's Choir
The Hinesburg Children’s Choir returns.  Designed for children in grades 2-4 on Wed (early release) from 2:00-3:00 at HCS, students will learn a variety of songs such as classical, folk, jazz, art songs, and pop selections. There will be a concert at the end of Nov. or early Dec. for the first semester and in mid-May for the second semester.  Children will be learning to develop pitch, tone, rhythm, posture, harmony, and overall performance skills. The choir will be co-directed by Andrea Haulenbeek and Jenny Cianciola, both retired public school music teachers and performers. Parent volunteers are welcome to help manage rehearsal tasks (binders, attendance, individual needs of children). Tae Kwon Do KICKS Classes for all ages - from Preschoolers to grandparents. Learn traditional TaeKwon Do techniques, including self-defense and board breaking, while improving your flexibility, strength, cardio, self-control, and self-confidence. All classes are taught family style so parents and children or mixed aged siblings can train together. Prepare for Black Belt....Prepare for Life. KICKS stands for Keep fit; Inner strength, Confidence, Kinship and Self-defense. Classes in Hinesburg on Wednesdays at 2:15 - 3:15 pm; 4:00 - 5:00 pm and 5:45 - 6:45 pm First class is free to try out then it's a month-to-month tuition program - so you are committing to one month at a time. Monthly tuition for one beginning family member is $40/month; for two is $70/month and for 3 is $100/month.
